Boulder has better churches than St. John's Episcopal Church attended by President Trump's Supreme Court nominee, Neil Gorsuch. Their rector is a priestess and the congregation is committed to embracing sodomites and lesbians as full members with sacramental privileges.
On abortion, CNN reports:
"Despite Trump's pledge to pick a 'pro-life' justice, Leonard Leo, who advised the president on Supreme Court nominees, said the issue was never explicitly raised during their discussions. 'Judge Gorsuch wasn't asked about it, and he's not going to make a commitment on it,' said Leo, who has taken a leave from his job heading the Federalist Society while he shepherds Gorsuch's nomination through the Senate."
This is the man who made it worthwhile to vote for Donald Trump? Seriously?
Were Vice-President Mike Pence and the Federalist Society unable to find and recommend any nominee whose work is inspired by his orthodox Christian faith?

ADDED LATER WHEN A READER TOOK ME TO TASK ON FB:
A dear sister in Christ writes on FB, and I respond here:
I am not crazy about this post Tim or your logic. 1. You don't know what his relationship with God is or the reasons he attends that particular church. You assume much. 2. Someone can be a sincere Christian, attend an evangelical church and be a terrible judge. 3. Even if Gorsuch is a pagan,as you have decided, he has an exceptional academic and judicial record as a conservative. Given how highly contentious confirming a justice to replace Scalia is, Gorsuch is the best selection we Trump voters could reasonably expect at this moment in history.
Thank you for your criticisms, dear sister. I understand your disappointment with what I wrote. Please allow me to explain my thinking.
1. You don't know what his relationship with God is or the reasons he attends that particular church. You assume much.
Actually, I think I have a pretty good idea why he attends that church. Having lived and worked In Boulder for a year and having visited many times over the years before and since, it's easy to see why Boulder's Episcopal church is godless (or pagan) in its theology. This is Boulder, after all, and they take pride in their paganism—much like Bloomington which you and your husband know well. Something about the nexus of filthy lucre and academic pride as far as Boulder is concerned. That this is the nature of the Episcopalians in Boulder is no shocker.
As to why Mr. and Mrs. Gorsuch attend the Episcopal church, the article I linked to explains that, and I accept their explanation. Episcopal liturgy is as close to the Anglican liturgy Mrs. Gorsuch grew up under and attended as an adult, and Mr. Gorsuch attends where his wife feels at home. Which one might commend as the magnanimity of a gentleman or the love of a good husband were it not to connive at the priestess's feminism and sodomitic rebellion. How helpful to his wife's soul is that? For that matter, how helpful to his own soul is that? So no, do not pass "Go" and do not collect $200. Bad man. It's man's duty to protect woman, if not generally, at least his wife. And concerning God in Christ Jesus, sin, righteousness, and judgment, that's precisely what Mr. Gorsuch has failed in. He might be a good lawyer, but he's a terrible judge. Of anything that matters more than a little. So if the man is to be believed, we do know what his relationship with God is because his confession of faith is feminist and sodomitic. Otherwise, it's of no consequence how and where a man worships. And we know that's condemned by every last verse of Scripture, don't we? What part hath Christ with Belial?
2. Someone can be a sincere Christian, attend an evangelical church and be a terrible judge.
Here we're completely agreed. I'd rather have a woman who is pagan and I have reason to believe will keep her vow to submit to the Constitution than a man who is a Reformed Christian who has no intent to submit to the Constitution. Any day. Furthermore, I'd rather have a Democratic judge who has integrity than a Republican judge who has none. One of Indiana's appellate judges is a case in point. I know him, love him, and trust him, and he's a Democrat.
3. Even if Gorsuch is a pagan,as you have decided...
I have not "decided" Mr. Gorsuch is a pagan. I've just listened to his confession of faith and taken him seriously. If a man tells you he believes in priestesses and wants one to lead him and his wife, and his priestess is also in favor of sodomy, what would you call that if not paganism? It's precisely what was going on in Canaan when God had the Sons of Israel wipe out the Canaanites. So please don't put the onus on me. I'm just listening to the man and granting him the integrity of his and his wife's confessions of faith. Either that or, as I said before, it's of no consequence how and where a man worships. And we know that's condemned by every last verse of Scripture, don't we? What part hath Christ with Belial?
...he has an exceptional academic and judicial record as a conservative.
No argument here; none at all. But why not a real Christian? Is there no Christian who has an exceptional academic and judicial record as a conservative? You know, jurisprudence anchored in Christian faith will always be more truthful than jurisprudence anchored in natural law. If you're a Protestant, you know that, anyhow.
Given how highly contentious confirming a justice to replace Scalia is, Gorsuch is the best selection we Trump voters could reasonably expect at this moment in history.
Maybe. But maybe not. And I mean to keep on the pressure. It's time for one—just one—Christian to be placed on our nation's highest Court.
Hope I haven't angered you with my responses. If I were voting, I'd vote to confirm Judge Gorsuch. But don't let anyone put my name down in the "grateful for this nomination" column. I have higher aspirations that won't be satisfied until we have a man who actually fears God and trembles at His Word a sitting justice on the Supreme Court of These United States.
With love to you and yours,
