Planned Parenthood's profits: outrage is now OK...

Error message

Women who take money to rip apart babies nestled in their mothers' wombs are murderers and the wickedness of their bloodlust and greed is beyond expression. To traffic in the slaughter of little unborn babies demonstrates a cruelty that is beyond the cruelty of Dachau and Treblinka. There is no greater vulnerability than the child asleep in her mother's womb. She is innocent and defenceless. She is nobody's enemy and mankind's highest duty of protection lodges precisely in her tiny form.

The nation that allows such slaughter to continue on an obscene scale, decade after decade, but then makes a big public show of horror that these women who demand money to slaughter babies also demand money for those babies' body parts is a nation that has gone mad. Shove your knife into the baby and cut off her head and arm and leg, then pull her torso out and toss it in the toilet or dumpster. But how dare you sell that torso! You may take your profit from her murder, but not from the sale of the corpse.

And so the Washington Post and other house organs of the chattering classes have run articles about Planned Parenthood's Senior Director of Medical Research, Dr. Deborah Nucatola, maximizing the profit of her grisly trade by selling body parts...

Thankfully, this provides one of those rare moments when Christians are released from the cage and allowed to let out a few yips and yaps. The Washington Post is running a piece, so Russ Moore sees his moment and lets loose some pent-up moral outrage. (You do remember Russ's condemnation of moral outrage following the Supreme Court's ruling, Obergefell v. Hodges, right? Back then, he said "outrage and panic are not the responses of those confident in the promises of a reigning Christ Jesus.")

Now though, Russ has rediscovered outrage:

If this does not shock the conscience, what will? It is not only that infants, in their mother’s wombs, are deprived of their lives, but also that their corpses are desecrated for profit. This is not only murderous; it is murderous in the most ghoulish way imaginable.

It's hard to run a Christian non-prophet ministry inside the Beltway.

It's hard to try to become a DC insider, knowing precisely when expressions of outrage will result in being dissed as a prophet and when the chattering classes will cut you some slack to spend a moment consolidating your support base.

This is the job description of Christians who want to be taken seriously in Manhattan or DC. All of us who give the money supporting these men's dicey work should be sympathetic toward the competing demands of their constituents and those they want to convince that they are peers.

But back to the women who demand money to rip unborn babies apart while they're asleep in their mother's womb...

These Jezebels have always been ghouls. They can't be more ghoulish than they already are. This video doesn't tell us one thing new—not one bloody thing—and for Christians to express outrage at this sale of babies' body parts is to cooperate with our nation's utter hypocrisy. The obscenity is taking money to murder unborn babies—not taking money for the sale of the corpse.
