It's what should have happened years ago. Bankruptcy. Think of all the time and money wasted since then.

If the EU does anything to try to forestall bankruptcy now, in light of what appears to be an overwhelming "no" vote by Greece's citizens today, all sanity has departed...

Let those who bought Greek debt long ago, but the much much larger creditors who have bought Greek debt in the years since we've known they were insolvent, lose their money. Greece isn't too big to fail (as if any American company ever was, either). Failure is vastly underrated. I'm an expert at it and have learned a ton.
