When will they get here, Dad?

Asher's Excited

Dad! When are all the kids going to get here for the Summer Conference?

In a few days, Asher. It starts on Friday. You need to be patient!

But it's going to be so much fun! I want to show them the monkeys...

Monkeys

The monkey's are pretty neat, aren't they?

Yup!

Hey Brie! You're not just going to sit and read the whole time, are you?

Brie Reading

No, Daddy! That's silly! Not when there will be toys and games and other kids to play with!

And after we're done playing inside, we'll go play outside on the playground!

That sounds like a good idea, Brie. You'll have to drink a lot of water, but it sounds like fun!

Now wave to our friends and tell them to come soon!

Brie and Asher

See you soon!

Ain't those the cutest little ones you've seen in the past thirty seconds?

So, dear readers, you see what your children are missing if you're not coming to the conference this weekend, right? Brie and Asher's friendship for starters. And don't you love the prep Lizzie Bowman has been doing to our nurseries painting the walls with monkeys, hanging kites from the ceiling... And what about that new playground? Many many hours have been put in by many men of our church building it under the supervision of Tim Wegener and Dave Curell. Your children will love it.

Children are at the center of what Clearnote does as churches. And so, naturally, we have excellent programs prepared for all ages of children. It's not just babysitting. Parents need not worry about their wee ones as they sit under preaching and teaching on the fatherhood of God and man.

There's still time to change your mind and come. You can be a walk-on. Come one, come all!

Love,

I can't wait to see all the fun the kids will have! I expect I'll get to hold a new baby or two as well ...

It's getting close, I just made my car reservation.

Wow, I remember that playground when it was just the Tottering Piers of Doom. Quite a nice improvement!

Haha, the "Tottering Piers of Doom"....that's great.

Yes, those are the cutest little ones I've seen in the past 30 seconds.  Probably worth coming to the conference just for them. ;)

Here's some specifics to look forward to:

For the tinies: bubbles, balls, stickers, music

For the littles: balloons, drums, Bible lessons, sand crafts

For the middles: a special "day camp" at Karst Farm Park, games, crafts, water fights

For the bigs: blanket-making for the Pregnancy Center, nature walks with our special guest teachers, relay races involving shaving cream and Jeff Ewer

Beautiful Lucas! Now you need to put a picture up of the wonderful hallway that Lane and Lizzie did.

"Relay races involving shaving cream and Jeff Ewer"

Haha, nice.

Lucas, those are great pictures, but you didn't include our FAN-CY new double wide.
