Donald Trump: I condemn him unequivocally...

Error message

Over more than two decades, when I've read or preached Psalm 73 I've not been able to get Donald Trump out of my head. It's as if the Psalmist knew and envied The Donald:

For I was envious of the arrogant As I saw the prosperity of the wicked. For there are no pains in their death, And their body is fat. They are not in trouble as other men, Nor are they plagued like mankind. Therefore pride is their necklace; The garment of violence covers them. Their eye bulges from fatness; The imaginations of their heart run riot. They mock and wickedly speak of oppression; They speak from on high. They have set their mouth against the heavens, And their tongue parades through the earth. (Psalms 73:3-9)

Mr. Tump is as public as he can be with his wickedness. Pride is his necklace and his tongue parades through the earth. His words to and about Megyn Kelly are maybe the most repulsive example of the betrayal of manhood I've ever read...

in political discourse, yet he continues to speak from on high and parade his macho vulgarity through the earth without losing his base.

A German friend and I were talking about Mr. Trump and he mentioned something that Italy's Silvio Berlusconi once said about a fellow European head of state who was female. Of course! Mr. Trump is Berlusconi, but not even handsome. I remember the years of Berlusconi ruling Italy. It was so shameful. I was disgusted with the Italians then, and have been since, because of their allowing that man to rule them. He seemed like a perfect match for the nation of football divers. Macho dominance and male sexual debauchery suit the Italians well, if we're going to be honest.

Sadly, the joke was on me. Now, my own fatherland is known around the world as the people who are about evenly split behind wanting as our next president Hillary Clinton, a woman who will allow her husband to be an alleycat in the Oval Office and is incapable of telling the truth;

And Donald Trump, a man who...

Well, actually, someone else has said it better than I could. He nails Donald Trump while explaining why National Review's anti-Trump issue did no damage.

Sorry, you who like Mr. Trump. I can't imagine any man who is a worse candidate for President, including Bernie Sanders.

And I believe it is a Christian witness to say so. Join me.
