Foodie quack fads...

Another helpful post from Pastor Doug Wilson, this one on the men promoting the acorns, birchbark, and cow-dung-milk foodie quack fads and those they've duped. Read all the way to the end where he peels back the truth about hypochondria. And note his wise advise about choosing a church.

Oh, I think that you guys and Doug are just grouchy because you didn't get your organic kale with Patmos olive oil dressing--the same kind the Romans used on the Apostle John, of course. What could be better for health and spirituality? :^)

At least Doug and I share a certain degree of adiposity—me a certain degree more than Doug I'm must admit. David, though; poor David. Slim that boy do be.

Love,

Not that it  really matters, but "foodie" just means someone who takes a particular interest in eating really good food. Foodie is not at all equivalent to health nut. Foodies will happily try out a Krispie Kreme hamburger, at least once.

Thanks for that, Michal. I'd thought foodies was about like hoodies and cooties.

Love,
