Well done, men! Your work is very, very appreciated and helpful to so many!
What have you guys been using to record? Are you going to have high res. flac downloads on the web for us audiophiles?
We use ProTools 10 with a digi 003 rack among other things. We should be able to provide the songs in flac, but keep in mind, these are demos. We didn't get fussy. They are pretty much live performances. You'll see that in some of the videos to follow.
Live performances can sound really good if they are done well but I also know that you guys are learning as you go.
And many studio recordings are live with the band (no overs). What I am saying is, these songs weren't rehearsed, we devoted on average less than an hour on each song. What we got is what we got. That is what I mean by not getting fussy. We also didn't spend loads of hours placing microphones meticulously. We found the spot that sounded decent and went with it. Also, knowing that we were making demos and not putting the songs on vinyl, we recorded at CD quality. Only nerds like you will notice :P
Yep. I can confirm. :)
We ARE very thankful for your work on putting together this resource, a HUGE blessing to our family worship!
What you guys are really missing is amplified tuba. :) But seriously thanks for the work you all are putting in.
