Children are a gift of the Lord...

Behold, children are a gift of the Lord, the fruit of the womb is a reward. - Psalm 127:3

Not every baby at Clearnote Church, Bloomington gets his pic broadcast to the world within minutes of his birth. It's largely a function of whether or not my dear wife, Mary Lee, is present and sends me a pic. Which she did just now of our latest addition to the known and seen children of the church: here is Abraham Knox Menzel, son of Pastor Jacob (Jake) and Amanda Menzel. Mother and son are doing well--for which we give thanks to God.

I'm the father of an 'Abraham' too and a great nickname - my older son coined it - is 'Abo' - long 'o' sound.

Our Joseph's middle name is Abraham. It's great to see it used as a first name. Praise God for His gift of this little man!
