See the world through another man's eyes...

Readers of this blog may remember Tim Bayly is color blind. He has mentioned it from time to time over the years, but he's not one to complain. If you've ever wondered what it's like to be color blind, you can now find out over on ChromaNope.com.

The results are quite fascinating...

Here are a few colorful websites to try:

I have shown ChromaNope to Tim already, and he cannot tell any difference between the first three images. I think he has red-green color blindness, but there are other forms of partial color blindness out there.

Thanks, Lucas! My wife officially feels sorry for me now--it's not just wardrobe errors to her anymore. I couldn't tell a difference between the first three. The fourth was a bit off. My son looked at me like I was joking.

My late father also had red-green color blindness. It's sad to see what he missed all his life. When he arrived in heaven, after seeing Jesus, our mother, his parents, siblings, and friends, I wonder if he'll be amazed about the colors he'll be able to see for the first time.

My college roommate's husband is color-blind.  I remember when they were furnishing their second house they made a point of shopping together because he saw things about patterns she did not.
