Unleash the Power Within...

The Associated Press reports that at Joel Osteen's Tony Robbins' motivational event, "Unleash the Power Within," 21 people were severely burned while walking across hot coals. I know walking across hot coals is possible. I also know that it has nothing to do with "the power within." So, apparently does the author of the article who (mis)wrote:

Walking across hot coals heated to between 1,200 to 2,000 degrees provides attendees an opportunity to "understand that there is absolutely nothing you can overcome," according to the motivational speaker's website.

Ahem... yes, that's right. There's absolutely nothing you can overcome. Just keep repeating that to yourself until you believe it.
