Messiahless Jews...

And they also, if they do not continue in their unbelief, will be grafted in, for God is able to graft them in again. (Romans 11:23)

Yes yes, I know speaking in generalities about Jews today leads to the "anti-Semitic" smear. But hey, life is short and there are all kinds of truths just waiting to be let out of the closet...

USA Today ran a profile of James Levine and Roman Polanski's fellow traveller, Woody Allen, last week, and I noted this:

Does he worry that his films won't be remembered? "I don't care about my work lasting. I would like to last. They can turn my movies into guitar picks. Nothing lasts. Nothing at all. Not even the sun."

Given such disturbing insights, it is hard to know whether all those years Allen spent in therapy paid off--or just made his existential despair into fodder for future features. (USA Today; June 19, 2012)

Make no mistake: the existential despair of Christless Jews is the fodder of our entertainment... permeating the New York Times and the Daily Show and Broadway and the Academy and bestseller lists and television and Hollywood.

There's something between the Third Reich and loveless silence, and it's time Christians find that something again. It's time we again recognize the toxicity of Messiah-less Jews and seek to call them back to the Only True God.

Woody knows the Judgment approaches. He films it all the time.

And then we see an enemy of the Church who goes by the name of Christian, one John Hagee, who tells us that Jews can be saved without the blood of Christ.  And many more behave as if it were true but are less straightforward about the matter.

Including Benedict XVI.

Including Benedict XVI.

Indeed.  And that's without visiting the whole Muslims can be saved while remaining Muslims bit that you can find at the Vatican.

Too much Tashlan.

Moving in the direction of the Third Reich can never be a good thing.  Christian antisemitism has a long and shameful history.  Why move in a direction that too often has lead 'Christians' toward shameful acts of prejudice and hatred, resulting in incredible pain for the Jews?

We should move upward - toward love - not downward toward the Third Reich.  I understand that a move toward loving with integrity may require communicating uncomfortable truths (which may be the point of this post).  However, antisemitism is a powerful force - a fire we need to be careful not to ignite within our communities.

Dear "Abe,"

If we live in fear of aiding and abetting a Holocaust, we should start with the present and ongoing slaughter of unborn babies that's reached well over a billion murders of babies, now. It's exponentially worse in wicked ideology and bloodguilt than anything done by the Third Reich to Jews and the hanicapped and Christians.

Anyhow, as I said, "There's something between the Third Reich and loveless silence..." Please look for it, sir.
