"Play it safe, party animal..."

The ads for Doug Wilson's lectures we ran on campus buses had the universal symbols for man and woman, alongside the text "Different by Design." They were vandalized, ripped and pulled down. Our sidewalk chalkings of the same were smeared into illegibility. Now this ad is posted on campus buses and it's ho-hum business as usual with no vandalism at all. Your tax dollars at work, citizens of our own constitutional representative democracy.

Isaiah 5:20 "Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who substitute darkness for light and light for darkness; Who substitute bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!"
The "evil" they would warn against - bearing children. (I won't even go into their equating children with animals) The "good" they condone - fornication. I don't know that I've ever seen a clearer representation of this verse. May God have mercy on us.
Totally appropriate, of course, for a worldview that is the absolute opposite of true (Christian) humanism. The irony vis-a-vis Rom. 1 is completely lost on the unbeliever, image and knowledge of God, suppressed and creature worshipped. Thousands and tens of thousands being led like lambs to the slaughter.
Thanks, ClearNote for a college ministry that deals in repentance and faith and the true freedom that comes from bondage to Christ.
Notice the oh-so-restraining slogan in the bottom right corner: "Play it safe, party animal." Just goes to show that the university administration is perfectly happy to be complicit in and supportive of students' drunkenness and immorality, as long as they keep paying up.
Gotta fill the beds... er... desks, Alex.
Those were my exact thoughts. And these are the same people who supposedly are on a woman's side in the "war on women." It's perfectly okay with them if our sisters and daughters are used and abused, emotionally and physically, so long as the boys are wearing condoms. It's madness.

Exactly. It illustrates a hatred of humanity, buying into this "zero population growth" nonsense that has led to mass murder in places like China. Interesting that the people advancing this ideology never display the courage of their convictions by killing themselves - there are too many people on the planet, right?
(I am not advocating suicide! I am just illustrating the hypocrisy.)
But they're also insulting the very students they are advertising to, by basically saying they are a bunch of animals incapable of suppressing their urges. These are all adults, but they are treated like infants. Should we be surprised when they act like they are treated?
It's also interesting that the advertisement doesn't even mention STD's - and it's important to note that one STD that can cause cancer (the human papilloma virus) cannot be prevented with a condom?
Then we get into the hypocrisy, as nanny state ninnies fret endlessly about obesity* and the problems it causes without worrying about the destruction left by sexual immorality and promiscuity. So people can be expected to avoid McDonald's and baseball stadium hot dogs, but we cannot expect them to control their sexual urges?
It's like Tim says - when you abolish God's moral law, you are left with an infinite number of man's petty laws. We're going to expect you to "show your papers" when you buy cold medicine, we're going to ban "Happy Hour" in New York City, we want to ban salt and trans fats, and on and on and on. But sexual depravity? Go right ahead. And you can feel free to kill your child if you get pregnant.
*Not that this isn't a problem, I'm just illustrating the double standards.
