Names mean something, and this just-born one was named Iain Martyn Mentzel. (Iain Murray and Martyn Lloyd-Jones are the two servants of the Word my brother and I have the most respect for from the past century or so--not counting our father.) May God make Iain Martyn like the pastor and his assistant he was named for. What joy, Jake and Amanda! (TB)

Aha!
I was considering asking about the spelling of the names, this explains much. And congratulations again to Jake and Amanda and praise to God for Iain Martyn's safe arrival.

Congratulations, Jake and Amanda!
May the Lord soon bless you with a Hamish Lloyd as well!
Rejoicing over everything except the fact that I was thinking of Martyn for a middle name. Now it's seem so unoriginal :)
Our Elijah's middle name is Martyn, and he's already three years old.
I also named my son Iain for similar reasons. Great minds and all that. :)
