By way of Wes White, here's a post from someone who's been thought to be a standard-bearer for confessionalism's ridicule of the pursuit of holiness in which he states clearly that there is no necessary conflict between doctrine and piety. But rather that, historically, those who have written and affirmed the Reformed confessions have been at the forefront of the pursuit of holiness.
