A one-track mind he has...

(Tim) If you have to give up having your children around, grandchildren are a good consolation. We return to a grandson (who will remain nameless), with his mother Michal reporting...

Daniel just figured out how to rhyme, so we were going through rhymes with "sock, rock, mock, lock...." "mat, sat, rat, fat, pat..." etc.

He suggested the word "cricket."

Me: "Okay, cricket. How about 't'?"

Daniel: "T-t-ticket!"

I was very impressed he was able to rhyme a 2-syllable word, so I congratulated him enthusiastically. Then...

Daniel: "And 'Frick-it!'"

I don't say "frick it" (though I'm guilty of saying all sorts of other indecent words and phrases), so I'm assuming this was just a chance rhyme he thought he had invented.

Me: "How about 'p'?"

Daniel: "P-p-picket! Like 'pick-it your nose!'"
