(Tim) A Google News headline and the linked article's first sentence:
WASHINGTON STATE BANS SALE OF...Olympia, WA, United States (AHN) - A second state has banned the sale of alcoholic beverages containing alcohol.
Yup. Baptists and Moslems are taking over our country. You watch: Taylor Swift will appear at next year's Country Music Awards wearing a burka.

Now don't forget the Mormons!
Speaking as a Baptist, I can simply rejoice that non-teetotalers have the choice of alcoholic drinks NOT containing alcohol. :^)
I actually talked to 3 people this week who drank the Loco drink.(here in Michigan) One of guys said " I thought, COOL, this tastes just like an energy drink! I drank it all and felt great......then.....I was on the floor.....on the floor for real!! It just sneeks up on you man!" The other 2 guys had similar stories. Energy.....then.....Ka-Boom!
I think the article has a typo and should read "alcoholic beverages containing caffeine," which makes much more sense than "alcoholic beverages containing alcohol." The article goes on to explain the problems of drinks which contain both alcohol and caffeine, which are well known in the medical community and have nothing to do with Islam.

Sorry. I thought everyone would get the funny, but I can see I was wrong.
Love,
Thanks. I got the funny.
I got the funny too.
I got the joke as well. What struck me was my initial uncertainty over wether I would prefer to be ruled over by Muslims or Baptists. After some reflection, I concluded Baptists.
Reminds me of a time I was with my uncle (a Free Will Baptist pastor) and his wife at a restaurant, and I ordered a beer along with my burger. I really didn't do it to start a scandal. I was totally oblivious to the fact that anyone would find a single beer going along with a meal offensive. The fireworks were entertaining, though.
Ha! I had to go back and reread it to get the funny. (I'm a little slow.)
My son is at the same school where this happened and he knew some of the kids involved. It's an overreaction, to be sure.
