Bluke's due devils...

(Tim) Butler's annual budget for basketball is 1.7 million--less than half the annual salary of Duke's Mike Krzyzewski. Go Butler?

Uh, yeah.

"According to CNBC sports business reporter Darren Rovell, [Duke] spent $394,068 per player in 2008-09. Butler... spent $347,108 on player expenses for the entire team last season."

Wow, those numbers are amazing.

And maybe it's just me, but the simple and humble demeanor of Butler's young coach has impressed me throughout the entire tournament.

Let's see, my alma mater or the "devils" of Duke? Hmm, tough decision.

Should Van Tillians be rooting for Duke? ;)

I was always a big Duke fan. Until about five years ago when I worked at a radio station...Coach K was going to be our guest and part of my job was to prep the guests...which included "small talk" just to keep them occupied before going on air. Anyways, our host asked me to ask coach K to if he could do the interview ten minutes later then scheduled ( which I knew was a bad idea). Instead of simply replying that he couldn't....coach K lambasted me with a foul mouth demeaning tirade. Oh how dare we ask him to be flexible. I didn't say what I really wanted to but instead apologized for asking and kept the schedule as is. GO BUTLER!

Have never liked Duke for some reason.....though I admit I like a lot of the things they've done, like the high graduation rate they've got.

Famous, rich preachers are often the same. Money and power are equal opportunity corrupters.

Speaking of relativism, it's my own personal truth that Butler won. Points be hanged.

Quite sincerely,

Glory is shared ... David beats Goliath and the Nation rejoices as though they picked out the rocks he slung.

David almost beats Goliath and the Nation still sings his praise. I mean come on, his armor did not even fit!

David L,

My thoughts exactly! I've always been impressed by Coach Stevens. Classy guy all around, and his players seem that way too.
