Semenya's sex questionable...

(Tim, w/thanks to David W. and others) The sex tests of South African runner, Caster Semenya, have come back questionable and the thorny matter has been turned over to a "panel of independent experts" for a final decision. Regardless of the conclusion, the gold medal will not be taken away.

An odd pose showing the fingernail polish. As the article says: "This feels forced." I recall the recent outrage of the South Africans to western standards of female beauty being imposed on Semenya, yet here's a South African magazine quick to cash in on just that sort of a makeover.

It's emblematic of our world's idolatry to sport that nobody had her do the exam when it became apparent she (?) was headed for world class, and that certain characteristics were....um...making people do a double take. Nope, gotta get "her" to Berlin to win a medal for the glory of South Africa!

And sorry, the makeover ain't workin'.

News in from Fox; no uterus, no ovaries, but two of something else in "her" body.
