The things which you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses, entrust these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also. (2 Timothy 2:2)
(Tim) I've never written anything about readership, but Sunday we hit a milestone I'd like to note: Baylyblog has passed one million visits (2.5 million page views) and our average visitor spends 4 minutes, 45 seconds with us. RSS feeds stand around 250.
Thank you, dear readers...
But more, thank you, Christ the Word and Church of the Good Shepherd, for loving God's Truth. And most, thank you, Father God, for Your loving care for us, placing us in these congregations to fulfill our calling.
Most pastors couldn't dream of saying or writing publicly what they believe Scripture teaches about a number of gap issues--particularly the meaning and purpose of sexuality. They'd get the boot, so they're highly nuanced or silent. David and I serve churches and work alongside pastors and elders, though, who believe it's the Scriptural calling of every shepherd and expect it of them.
Would you believe we're happy as clams?
