(Tim, w/thanks to Bob) Uwe Siemon-Netto comments on his fellow Lutherans' approval of the ordination of sodomites to pastoral ministry and the tornado many Reformed men are quick to say should not be attributed to any Divine purpose communicating any Divine message. Don't miss it.

The last line is priceless:
"It’s really good to have a Jewish God occasionally sending selective tornados and marking a godless edifice with a shining sign of the cross."
Yes, it is.
But God is not Jewish. And He is without passions.
Marshall,
Are you sure? Because I am fairly certain that Jesus was a Jew (by the way, He is God) and that God the Father sent God the Son to save his people (we are just one of his many passions). Other passions include loving His only Son, making sure His people are faithful, etc.
You might want to reconsider your statement :)
