"All Israel will be saved..."
(Tim) Here's a report from a missionary couple I've had the pleasure of getting to know recently. I was so encouraged by their report that I thought I'd pass it on to our readers. The names of the couple and their cities have been removed to protect them, their brothers and sisters in Christ, and their Gospel work.

Although we're learning Hebrew, (my husband and I) are able to minister in Russian here, too. There are an estimated one million Russian-speaking immigrants in Israel. They're coming to Christ in unprecedented numbers...
Some reports suggest that almost half of the Messianic believers in Israel (15,000 in all) are Russian Jews.
Just last week, a good friend from the Caucasus (and from a Muslim background) came for a visit. Although we and many others have shared our faith with him many times over the years, he'd always been resistant to the Gospel. Three days before (my husband left a certain city in the Caucasus where we used to minister) for what would be the last time, (he) sensed a spiritual openness in our friend. He asked him if he'd put his faith in Christ?
Our friend replied, "No, but I think I will someday." After (my husband) was denied a visa to return (to that city), our friend wrote and said, "I hope I'll see you again. If not in this life, perhaps in heaven."
Imagine our joy when our friend told (my husband) that he'd finally come to faith! During his visit, (my husband) and he read the Scriptures and prayed together every day. They also went to Jerusalem and walked along the Via Dolorosa (The Way of Grief) in the Old City. (My husband) read from Isaiah chapters 9 and 53 and Micah 5:2 and 3 as the stars were coming out. (My husband) said it was a thrill to talk with a new believer about the Man of Sorrows on the Way of Grief. I'm sure it was a moment that neither of them will ever forget.
We're so thankful for all our friends in (our former home city) who imparted their lives to this man.
