Go figure...

A couple months ago I ran into a woman wearing a medium sized cross on her necklace, so I asked if she was a Christian?

She said, "Yes, why do you ask?"

"Because you're wearing a cross," I said.

"Oh, that's just a decoration," she responded, "but I am a Christian."

While I don't on principle oppose the wearing of crosses, we should never forget: it is as if we were wearing a little gold guillotine, or gallows, about our necks. It has a very specific reference, and we should mean it, or not mess with it.

Exactly Dan! Couldn't have said it better.

Gar. Must--have--more Bayly blogging. Must. Get. Bayly -fix.

Baylys --haven't posted in days! Aaarrrgh. I'm losing my --superpowers!

Tim is on vacation this week and had a lot going on until they left town, so I hope that we don't see or hear much from him. David has been hard at work shepherding this week. This is one of those times that both David and Tim have spoken about that their primary calling and therefore their primary duty is to their flock.

I am sure that we will hear from them soon. I'm sure that it is encourging to them to know that people do read and are encouraged by what they write.

What, you mean they're PASTORING in addition to the blog? :)
